Upgraded for True Hi-Fi Sound

A complete upgrade from the original S880DB, the MKII refines every detail—from acoustics to circuitry.

With a re-engineered architecture and modernised components, it delivers an even purer, more authentic Hi-Fi listening experience across music, movies, and gaming.

Refined Acoustic Architecture

The 1.25" titanium-dome tweeter with a larger 25mm voice coil and 3.75" long-throw mid-bass driver ensures stunning clarity and extended bass down to 50Hz.

Crystal highs and balanced mids create a richer, more detailed soundstage fit for both casual and critical listening.

High-Resolution Digital Precision

Powered by Texas Instruments and XMOS XU216 processors, the S880DB MKII supports up to 32-bit/384kHz playback for remarkable resolution and ultra-low distortion.

Certified for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless, it supports LDAC Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, Optical, and Coaxial connections for pristine, flexible performance.

* Supported sampling rates: USB-C/OPT/COAX up to 192kHz. Bluetooth LDAC up to 24-bit/96kHz (Android 8.0 and later).

Smarter Control, Deeper Bass

Take command with a rechargeable 2.4GHz remote and OLED display for quick, intuitive operation.

The Sub Out port enables external subwoofer expansion for deeper, more powerful bass, completing your Hi-Fi setup with precision and convenience.

Are these speakers suitable for a living room setup?

Yes, they are designed for room-filling sound and work well in small to medium-sized living spaces.

Do I need a receiver or amplifier?

No. Edifier powered bookshelf speakers have built-in amplifiers, so you can connect compatible audio sources directly without a separate receiver or power amplifier.
