This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed on the Edifier North America Online Store are processed, shipped, and delivered within Canada and the United States.

1. Order Fulfillment & Delay Notifications

  • Standard Processing: Orders are typically fulfilled within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed.
  • Peak Periods: Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or during peak periods (such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday) may require up to 3 business days.
  • Delay Rights (US/Canada): If we cannot ship your order within the stated timeframe, we will notify you via email with a revised date. You will have the option to either consent to the delay or cancel your order for a full refund.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Time

  • Standard Shipping: Typically takes 3–7 business days after an order has been dispatched.
  • Estimates: Delivery times are estimates only and may vary based on destination, weather, or carrier operations.
  • Delivery Method: Standard delivery is completed via courier (e.g. USPS or Canada Post) to the exterior door of the specified shipping address.

3. Free Standard Shipping

  • We offer free standard shipping on most orders within Canada and the United States, effective on [March 5, 2026 PST].
  • Eligibility is determined by
    • order contents (size/weight/handling requirements),
    • shipping destination,
    • carrier limitations.

4. Large, Oversized, or Special-Handling Orders

  • Certain items may require additional shipping charges due to size, weight, or special handling.
  • Remote or extended delivery areas* may require paid shipping regardless of order value. *Remote or extended delivery areas include but are not limited to: (1) locations beyond standard carrier service zones as defined by USPS, FedEx, UPS, or Canada Post.
  • Final Approval: If the final shipping cost differs from the checkout estimate, we will contact you by email. No order requiring additional charges will be shipped without your prior written confirmation and approval.

5. Address Restrictions

  • P.O. Box addresses may not be eligible for expedited or courier-based services, including FedEx and UPS.
  • In such cases, alternative shipping methods may be required, or delivery may not be available.
  • We will notify you via email within 48 hours of order confirmation. You may choose to:
    • a) Provide a physical street for delivery;
    • b) Accept an alternative service such as USPS or Canada Post (if applicable);
    • c) Cancel the order for a full refund.
  • Please provide your selection within 72 hours of receiving our notification. If no response is received within this timeframe, the order will be canceled, and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

6. Order Tracking & Support

7. Returns & Refunds

  • Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order, in accordance with our Return Policy.

  • Refund Processing: Once returned items are received and inspected, refunds are processed within 2–3 business days. The time required for funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Regional Legal Disclosures

For Canada Residents:

  • 30-Day Delivery Guarantee: If your order is not delivered within 30 days of the estimated delivery date (or 30 days from purchase if no date was given), you have the legal right to cancel the contract and receive a full refund.
  • Currency: All transactions for Canadian customers are processed and displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

For United States Residents:

  • FTC "30-Day Rule": If we do not ship your order within the promised timeframe, we must notify you, offer a revised shipping date, and provide the option for a full refund.
  • Currency: All transactions for US customers are processed and displayed in US Dollars (USD).
