Amazing full sound for the price!

Really good sound quality for the price. Even though it is relatively small it has a rich full sound and I don’t find the bass lacking for my desktop computer. If you are a bass junky you may find it lacking but I think it is plenty. I still find my audio engine a2 to be a little more crisp and made with better materials however they have a little less bass and are almost 100 dollars more. I would buy both again if I needed another pair of active speakers.

Very good build quality. The wood veneer speakers are very attractive, feel substantial and well built. I'm not an audiophile, but sounds good to me! Good connectivity options: USB-C, BT, analog RCA. Clean single cable connection between left and right speakers. Recommended.

Look no further than Edifier for PC Speakers

Great quality speakers and surprising amount of bass at a great price. I'm not an audiophile so I don't know or care about recreating THX-quality sound, but these speakers do the job nicely. There are no physical buttons so you'll have to use the touch feature on the right-hand speaker or adjust from your PC.

Good quality!

I was debating between this and the Kanto YU2 but ended up choosing this one for the Bluetooth, and I’m glad I did since I used it with my phone way more than I initially expected. The smaller size fits nicely under my monitors, and the color blends well with my white desk.

Very nice for size, only downside is weak bass response below 60 Hz

These tiny speakers are impressive for their size. I use them for listening to music at the computer and general computer sound output, as my monitor speakers are pretty bad. For 15 years I used an old Bose Wave III radio as my computer sound output, so that is what I can compare these Edifiers to. In most respects the Edifiers are an improvement--certainly better stereo separation, no surprise there, also very clear mids and smooth highs. What they lack compared to the Bose is bass. The Bose cut off about 48 Hz, these cut off about 58Hz, and the difference is noticeable. I never felt any need for equalization for the Bose, probably by design, but it is necessary for the Edifiers to boost the relatively weak low end. With that, then these are an acceptable but not perfect replacement for the Bose, considering that a new Bose radio is thousands of dollars now so not a viable option. Their really small size makes it possible for me to squeeze them in with my 3 monitors, 4 scanners and other computer equipment on my desk. For gaming and the like, which I don't do, you will need something else. For filling a room with music, something else. But sitting at the computer, 4 stars if you get an EQ app. Note that I haven't messed with the Bluetooth, no use for it. The speakers come with no usable instructions, just gobblygook and gibberish, but for my purposes, you plug them in and go. The on-off button and volume buttons are weird but they work OK. In the old days I would have simply found an old amp laying about and spliced into the Bose to make use of the speakers, which are still operational, I kinda miss those days. Times being what they are, these are well worth the price for my application. Rock on, as long as you can.

Very good sound, build quality

Very good quality, surprising for size and price. Note that both speakers are joined by wires and plugged in, they are not independent. Good weight and build quality. Enjoying my music on my computer, can run wired by audio cable or by Bluetooth.

Cheap, simple, great.

Wonderful little speakers. Used these to replace some KEF LSX II LTs that were complete garbage. These are a breath of fresh air. Small, attractive, inexpensive, simple. Just wonderful. My KEFs always had connectivity issues, deafening volume spikes, hooking them up via USB C was a nightmare of manuals and apps and buttons, just insane when all I wanted were simple speakers for my laptop. Early days so could revise rating down in the future, but for now they're exactly what I was after.

Great mids and highs.

So, first things first, these sound great. My wife has the EDIFIER QR65 speakers and these are arguably better. Mids and highs come through cleanly. The only way I can describe them is that they sound effortless. The negative here is the lack of low frequency response. To rectify that I’m using the RCA inputs. I’m outputting from my Mac using a line-level out (3.5mm plug) into a 3.5mm splitter, then feeding one branch to the edifies and the second branch to a 300W 10” ported sub I’ve had for decades. Now the sound is complete and full.

Great quality, looks fantastic, sound is excellent

So, computer speakers, good fit fairly small love the included stands. Although location of the controls is a little inconvenient. Can't see them from my normal seated position. But for me it will likely be a set it and forget it proposition. Haven't messed with the edifier app yet. Had to restart my computer for it to recognize the speakers. Once that was done, wow. Listened to a mix on YouTube, lynyrd Skinner, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Hendrix. At reasonable listening levels they are excellent. Perfectly fine for voice, video, zoom etc.

Impressive Sound and Functionality

Not cheap, but they have exceeded my expectations. I am using them as Computer Speakers. Sound quality is outstanding for what they are (3" woofers). The soft dome tweeters are bright and clean, but not obnoxious. The phone app is a nice bonus providing an equalizer. The ability to stream Bluetooth is really nice. The USB interface worked perfectly with my computer. If they had a subwoofer output on them, I'd call them perfect. As is, I still have to give them 5 stars.

Perfect office and garage speakers!

I bought these for my home office because I wanted something between my 2 KRK 8" studio monitors and basic computer speakers—and they’re the perfect balance. At low volumes, the sound is crisp and clear, and when I turn them up, the bass really comes through without losing clarity. The app is also really helpful for different EQ balances and allowing me to customize what comes through. This is bass you can feel, not just hear, which is a big deal. They’re compact enough to hide behind my monitors and connect seamlessly to both my PC and phone.Highly recommend these for anyone who wants quality sound in their office, kitchen, or garage. I’m already picking up another set for my garage—they’ll be my go-to Christmas gift this year. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Speakers are actually great. Easy to use. Sound amazing. I could hear everything crisp and clear. Good sounding bass. Easily links to bluetooth. Has Aux In and comes with 3.5 mm cord. Also cables to connect to tv or stereo component. Worth the purchase if you looking for good affordable desktop or bookshelf speakers.

Compact great sound and good controls

Super compact, works under my monitor when used sideways and still sounds good from head-on. Supports LDAC for high quality bluetooth audio from either android or ios. Gets very loud for its small size. Not as neutral as studio monitors but rather has a sound signature that makes music more fun.Things to note:- The area where it sounds "natural" in front of the speakers is worse when turned sideways (this is true for many speakers)- The controls are not the most intuitive without checking the manual- No subwoofer port, the bass is good for near field but not as full as 2.1+ systems (but not having l a sub does help avoid noise complaints in an apartment)- The USB input is strictly an audio input and does not charge the connected device at all (for a spealer that does check out the Edifier QR65 although it is much more pricey for similar sound quality)

Great size, sound quality, and value

These speakers are excellent, and I consider myself quite the audiophile. They’re slightly smaller and heavier than I expected, which I see as a huge bonus. At first, I worried about not going with a 2.1 setup because of their size, but they hit surprisingly hard for what they are—and I’m glad I don’t have the extra clutter, wiring, or a subwoofer on the floor. On top of that, they feel premium and look fantastic.

Fantastic clean audio, solid output for its size

The sound quality is impressive especially for its size and price. Vocals sound very clear as well as minor beats. The only criticism of note would be app Bluetooth connection could be more reliable. Audio adjustments on the unit itself is very basic with just plus and minus volume and a input cycle/power. The capacitive buttons are fine, but wish they added some tactile identification since the top buttons aren't in view from my setup. Also there are no volume level indicators outside of the app. So to adjust audio, I have to tap the speaker input to Bluetooth, then connect the app, then change back inputs from the app. Aside from that, the speaker functionality and sound quality is solid. The audio is very clear and appealing even from opposite sides of the room. The frequency range feels balanced, at least to my preference. There are a few eq presets to choose from from the app, the monitor option felt the the clearest, but you do lose some of the bass impact. Build quality of the unit itself has a premium look and feel with the white soft smooth finish and minimalistic aesthetic. Various connection cables are included along with two aluminum angled stands. Overall strong recommend, these may be the best speakers at this price category.

Clear, honest neutral sound with a hint of punch...

clear, honest sound way beyond my expectations. for reference, i have tried quite a few desktop speakers. i do like an honest neutral sound as i listen to mostly jazz and classical. it makes no sense to have an over boosted bass or treble. i tried the Hi-Vi Swans OS10 which are simply too 'warm', mudding the sound quite a bit in the lower mids; have also used the Kali audio lp-unf and iloud micro monitors. Both the Kalis and the iLouds offer a neutral sound but they are both intended for really close listening (monitoring) in a home studio setting. The iLouds are really clinical; the kalis are a bit boring. The edifiers fill my space with beautiful sound and have that tiny bit of 'punch' in the upper lows, enough to make the music way more engaging. Dynamically they are also engaging (!) going from soft to loud passages with agility and conviction! They can get loud if you want them too, but is really the purity and engaging sound they produce that make them real winners! I think their price is really competitive and I am now curious to try other more sophisticated Edifier speakers. Very highly recommended!

Very good active stereo speaker set, minimal footprint, affordable price.

They won't beat a set of passive speakers with a dedicated amp, but they're an excellent active speaker set. They barely take up any desktop space, but still have great build quality, and have good mass so they're heavy for their size. They're more like downsized bookshelf monitors rather than typical plastic stereo speakers. They're ported in the rear and have surprising low end output with a lot of presence. With proper isolation from the table, you'd almost assume there was a dedicated subwoofer because you don't generally get good bass response below 250hz from speakers that are this small. The small size allows you to tilt them onto their sides and place them under a monitor, a bit like a soundbar with the tweeters in the center. I used some small silicone isolation feet to elevate them off the desktop slightly and there's no rattling or distortion when properly isolated from the desk. The included aluminum stands are nice quality, but they only allow for a single angled position. The accompanying mobile app allows for some basic equalizer adjustments. Not a huge change in output characteristics like you'd expect from a more expensive passive setup, but better than nothing.A big step up from cheapo speaker sets, and an easy solution if you're tight on desktop space and don't want to run a bunch of wiring, but still want robust and undistorted audio.
