This is a solid pair of gaming speakers with a full sound for a mid-range price.They’re compact, but don’t let the size fool you. I like that you can connect them via USB, AUX, or Bluetooth 5.1. I tested all three inputs and had no issues switching between my Mac Studio, iPad, and game console. Total plug-and-play with no setup hassles. The Set-up, is not complete, without sound. At some point, the headphones have to come off. These are pretty good speakers, although it’s a downgrade to my Bose speakers. For my needs is why I bought these. Wireless connectivity saves a lot of wire headache. Perfect for my setup. Very simplistic design, amazing sound quality and profile and takes up very little space on my desk. Now that I have them I almost never like using my headphones to watch any type of media.

The sound is not that great. Probably because there is so little bass. They just sounded sort of 'vacant' and not loud enough. I did like the design and size.

These Edifier Hecate RGB Gaming Speakers exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is clear with powerful bass, and the multiple modes, Game, Movie, and Music, really enhance the listening experience. The RGB lighting effects add an awesome visual element to my gaming setup, and the compact design fits perfectly on my desk without taking up too much space. Bluetooth 5.1 connects seamlessly, making it easy to switch between devices.Highly recommend for anyone looking for stylish, high-quality speakers for their PC or console!

Let's start with one important thing: I don't dislike these speakers. That being said, they have a few quirks and imperfections to contend with.I have a set of Altec Lansing computer speakers that're about 25 years old and still sound as good as the day I got them. While the speaker cones are about the same size -- maybe a couple of millimeters larger -- on that set, their bass response is a bit better. This set tends to shine in the high to low-mid end of the sound spectrum, even though they're ported in the rear for better bass response. Something else I notice is that the mids are a bit scooped, so ideally, you want to use these on a system that lets you adjust the EQ to tweak the mids a bit (vocals on several tracks sounded distant). On the other hand, I appreciated that while the high end had plenty of clarity, it didn't have the ice-pick quality of some speakers in this size range that I've tried.Otherwise, there are several connectivity options, all of them easy to use: USB, Bluetooth, and 1/8" inputs and outputs (one of the 1/8" jacks is for a sub out). They're compact, they have better sound quality than my iMac, and they project well (easily filling my 13x13 bedroom with sound at less than half volume). If you can get over the somewhat wonky EQ, these are good speakers, and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to try some of this company's other products.

Edifier Hecate G2000 RGB Gaming Speakers are impressive little speakers. I connected these to my pc via aux input from my MSI monitor and also tested out the USB connection. I feel the price of these are justified for the size, however, I do own cheaper bookshelf speakers with around the same volume/clarity, but they cost half the price. Sound wise: I preferred the GAMING setting on the speakers. I found the sound is very clear for listening to Vocals, such as twitch or youtube streams. The sound format on Aux allows up to 24 bit 48,000 hz, while usb is only up to 16 bit 48,000hz. Functionality: These speakers included instructions that are easy to understand. They are powered speakers that required a power plug, so the small footprint seemed more for like saving deskspace. The LED is a soft accent, instead of distracting, it served me as a reminder that they speakers are powered on, but the LED lighting can be turned off.

I've had (and still have) several Edifier products and I find them to be a good mid-range choice. A mid mid-range choice. There are more and less expensive devices in this range and these are in the middle. The sound is very clear and distinct. The size is compact enough to fit on even a slightly cluttered desk and the design (not just a plain square or rectangle), gives them a bit of style. Highly balanced to the higher end, which is not surprising given their size (and price). They can also get *very* loud. Probably louder than you'll ever want. Given their higher end balance, it's a bit sharp at very high volumes. One of the nice things, however, is that these have a dedicated subwoofer output. If you have a subwoofer lying around, you'll be much happier. I don't, so I couldn't test them. Would you buy a subwoofer just to use with these speakers...? I doubt it. All the controls and interfaces, including power, are on the left speaker. There is a generously long, although not removable, cord between the two speakers. Sound inputs are 3.5mm aux, USB and Bluetooth 5.1. Selectable from the multi-function switches on the left speaker. A good set of inputs that should satisfy most uses that anyone purchasing this set of speakers would be using.There are three preset sound modes (Game, Movie and Music) selectable using one of the multi-function switches on the left speaker. There are also RGB lights, with 12 different settings (colors, pulsing, blinking, off, etc) on the back and sides of each speaker. They are not bright, but give a gentle glow. There is no way to adjust the brightness and they do not respond to the music. That would have been a nice touch.All in all, a good general purpose desktop and gaming speaker with a bit of pizazz. The list price seems a bit high and you might want to wait until their on sale. That aside, recommended as a well made, attractive set of speakers with some good functionality.

I'm glad I got introduced to Edifier. I'm learning that they make some great products and I've been impressed with their range of items...now adding their gaming speakers to the list. Hecate G2000 are nice. They offer a really solid sound output in a small pairing of desktop speakers. The design is really cool in that there's three light displays on each speaker (though it would have been nice if the RGB lighting was in the front as well) that you can scroll through colors that remain solid or fade in out (solid or color changing).You have multiple ways to connect (AUX port, USB and Bluetooth), so you have options of your source of sound and/or gameplay. Then there's the sound. You'll definitely get crisp highs and clear mids. The bass is present too thanks to the ported box design. It's not room shattering bass, but you can hear the rumbles that you'd expect as well as the boom-baps you'd expect, along with the kicks.Overall, a solid pair of desktop speakers that are compact yet powerful.
