Does Everything Very Well

These are now my go-to headphones, over the H2O RIPT Ultra and the Edifier W800BT (very different headphones from each other) that I've been switching back and forth between. - Nice big earcups that go around my (average-size) ears with no issues. - Comfortable padding on the headband.  Not awesome, but good and no issues. - Simple button controls - Simple switch to ambient mode.  I forget what it's called (you have to enable it in the app), but if you want to immediately talk to someone, just hold your hand on the right earcup, after a couple of seconds the headphones mute the music and switch to ambient mode.  Not super fast, but works well and it's pretty convenient. - Excellent app.  Always connects to the headphones, simple , obvious layout, let's you customize the sound and lets you choose which noise canceling and ambient modes the headphone cycles through when you press the button on the headphones (you can skip the ANC/Ambient Off mode, for instance). - Excellent noise cancelling (including the passive noise blocking).  With noise cancelling off, just putting on the headphones blocks a lot of ambient noise, but turning on the high noise cancelling really seems to do a good job, low frequencies pretty much gone, higher frequencies (like voices) pretty faint from just a few feet away. - I'm at 92% battery after ~5 hours of a mix of calls and music at 35-40% volume, with ANC on high, so you should be able to get 50 hours pretty easily on these. - The sound is quite good.  With the Classic (default) EQ, upper mids/lower treble/vocals are pushed forward, they come through well with plenty of detail, but upper treble and bass are both a little flat for me.  The custom EQ is a 4-band parametric which works well, I've attached my EQ settings in the photo.  With these settings, the treble is brighter, crisp and detailed without being shrill or sibilant.  Bass is also pushed forward, but not too far.  With these earphones, the strength is mids and trebles, the bass is good and crisp and punchy, but just doesn't move very far forward (the Heavy Bass preset sounds pretty muddy). - Microphone is good, I haven't tried it in noise conditions, but in quiet/office conditions your voice comes through clearly. - The earcups get a little warm after an hour or so, I would not want to wear these outside in the sun (not my thing). - Comes with a nice case that's "preformed" to these headphones, I like that a lot. - They look good, a little more thought has gone into the esthetics of the design than an average pair of headphones. - Note that these headphones will also play music wired, but only through the USB-C port, there is no aux port:  you cannot listen wired through an aux cable.

These headphones have excellent sound, great features, are very comfortable and are my 'Go To' Headphones. The setup for these headphones is extremely easy. Turn the headphones on, bring up the Bluetooth setting on your device and select the headphones to connect - done. I started with my desktop PC as I plan to use these headphones in house and not on the road but then I didn't want to miss a call so set up the headphones on my phone as well. Speaking of on the road, the headphones come with a very nice hard case. The case is well made with perfect stitching, a vinyl zipper and a carrying handle. The headphones have three noise level modes by default, 'Noise Cancellation', 'Ambient Sound', 'No Noise Cancellation' but more are available when I installed the app on my phone. Speaking of the app, I would recommend getting it as it offers more features and makes the headphones even better. There are three playback modes on the headphones, Music, Game and Spatial. The power button turns on the headphones plus pauses and plays my playlist. The Volume up button turns the volume up plus a double press skips to the next song. The volume down button is the same but skips back one song. Having the music navigation buttons on the headphones is great as I can be away from my PC or phone and still control the playlist. All the buttons are located on the right headphone and the power button has a raised bump to identify it.The sound from these headphones is better than my PC speakers so I prefer to use the headphones and when I turn on the noise cancelling, I can have my house window open and I will not hear the noises from the neighbourhood. The headsets have adjustable arms on each side so I can get the perfect fit. The headphones have a 'Speak to Chat' function where I touch the right ear piece and the music will stop and turn on ambient sound. The music starts up again as soon as I remove my hand from the ear piece. The noise cancelling is very good but not all frequencies are blocked and with the app I can also turn on wind reduction. The range is very impressive compared to my other 5.4 Bluetooth devices. Whether I connect to my PC or my phone, I can be anywhere in the house (including the basement) and I do not get any breakage in music at all. I can even go outside and stand in front of the metal garage door without loss and no other Bluetooth device that I have can do that. These headphones are powered by a built-in battery and the product page claims I can get 53 hours with noise cancelling on so I tested this and my results were not as good. With the headphones fully charged, I had my volume set to 50% which is plenty loud, noise cancelling on the highest mode and the headphones ran for 43 hours and 40 minutes. The app for the headphones gave me a low battery notification at 10% and the headphones gave me an audible warning when the headphone's battery was at 2%. I charged the headphones at 1% for 15 minutes to see if they would run for another 7.5 hours with noise cancelling on and that was not the case. After the 15 minute charge, the app reported the battery at 19% and they ran for 5 hours 37 minutes and I let the headsets run to 0% - dead. It is possible the claims above were not done with noise cancelling set to the highest setting. Either way, I think 43 hours for run time is excellent with noise cancelling set to high. The charge time of these headphones from 0% to 100% is 2 hours and 45 minutes. The headphones charge at 2.3 watts so any wall charger should do the trick and the headphones will not work while charging.

Definitely my new favorite headphones!

These headphones are pretty awesome! They definetly drown out noise decently and the sound is great! I haven't yet tried them for a handsfree call yet but since everything else about them is great im sure that aspect is as well! These connected super easy to my android phone with no issues! I get a decent amount of range from my phone before it decides to disconnect! These are by far more comfortable then the ear bud kind that I seem to keep losing! For the price These are definitely on the nicer side of hands-free capabilities! So far the battery has yet to die on me and I've used it atleast 2 hours and it hasn't died on me yet! I quite enjoy these! I love the nice little case that they came in took me a minute to remember how they folded to get them back in but I figured it out!

Beautiful headphones!

First off, these headphones sound great! I was very interested in headphones before so I can say that these headphones without a doubt sound great! They have a balanced signature, it's not too bass heavy and the highs are clear even and higher volumes. The battery life does last forever too, I used it for about 10 hours straight and it survived. The build quality is also very nice, as expected from edifier. The headband is a flexible plastic, the cups have a leather like finish, and the earcups yokes are metal. It's a great set of headphones, the price is very well worth it for what you get. 10/10!

Must buy

They are a little bit big for my head, but the overall quality is incredibly well made.

Sound quality is superb I guess I got a pair that was made on Saturday instead of Monday.

A real nice sound quality the only problem I had with him when you took them off they were supposed to pause until you put them back on and one other thing after every two or three songs the headphones would cut off but everything else was fine. The battery life to comfort the quality. I guess I just got a bad pair.

I'm sadly returning.I love the prettiness. The size isn't as jarring as the product photos. I have the white, which is a warm off-white and lovely - no regret not getting pink. The plastic sheen is a right amount of matt. The curves and edges are just right.I like the sound. More soft than sharp, which I prefer. The noise cancelling & ambient modes work, but inconsistent. I have a portable AC by my desk, and I shuffle 3-6 times until something clicks the best (i.e. anc mode after 3 tries softened the roaring AC sound this time, while the 1st ambient mode distorted & made it louder, 2nd ambient made a quiet but annoying static sound). I can live with it.Buttons make sense, but I wish the power was more distinct... instead of following the trend of smooth straight-bar unibutton with volumes. I often misclick volumes instead. I like that they separated the bluetooth button from other things. It's not for small heads. I'm an average Asian woman sized head. It fits at the tightest with the head cushion lightly sitting. Edifiers are on a looser side too, for those like me who like headsets that don't crush skulls... so not much grip sideways. The wear is BAD. It slips back even when still. I have to keep the headband closer to the forehead to keep it on. Even then, I take a step and it falls back with ear cuffs... even though my head it TILTED FORWARD. I have much looser headsets that aren't scared of my head.I'm returning. I hesitated bc I love it otherwise, the design is just my type... but I need to wear it hands-free 🙉

Awesome and stylish headphones for many reasons

Edifier is one of those hidden companies I have come to love for the quality of its products, and these headphones do not disappoint at all. The headphones are stylish, durable, and provide quick and reliable connectivity, which is truly impressive. I listen to rap and house music, and for the most part, these genres are truly an experience with those headphones. These are competitive at that price and a grab!

Died. Just stopped working. Just over a month old.

Not sure if you want to buy this product. Mine just stopped working. When they worked they were great, but as I said, they did just stop working. Very sad. They were only just over a month old and I cannot return them now.

pretty good headphones

These headphones are actually pretty awesome. The sound is really solid with nice bass and clear audio overall. I was kind of surprised at how good they sounded for the price. They’re comfortable too. I wore them for a long time and didn’t feel like they were squeezing my head or making my ears hurt which is always a concern with over-ear stuff. They’re lightweight but still feel sturdy and well made. The Bluetooth connection is fast and stable. I didn’t have any weird lag or dropouts and pairing was super easy. The battery life is really impressive too. I’ve used them for several days without charging and they’re still going strong. Also I like that they fold up because that makes them easy to toss in a bag without taking up a ton of space. If I had to be picky I’d say they might not block out all noise if you’re in a super loud place but for everyday stuff like working listening to music or watching shows they’re more than enough. I’ve been using them a lot and I’m honestly really happy with them. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for good sound and comfort without spending a fortune.

As a reviewer on this platform, I've been presented with a lot of wireless headphones that claimed to be ANC but weren't. That's simply not the case here! I already have a pair of ANC wireless headphones that I like, but I had been considering getting a back-up set, and I've found it.I have been using only these headphones all week, and I am pleased to say the battery lasts all day without showing any signs of going low. I don't know exactly how long they'll last without charging yet as I can't seem to break the habit of charging my electronics every night, but I can at least vouch for these being all-day performers. The sound quality is excellent, comparable with my other set purchased at a similar price point, and I do not notice any audio delay over blue tooth when watching video on my laptop or phone. There are three modes: ANC, awareness, and standard. ANC does genuinely cancel noises. I can't hear my cats' fountain running 3 feet away from me! It doesn't cancel out the world, I can hear my daughter's too-loud cartoons in the next room, but I can't understand it. It blocks enough. I'm considering taking these to the race track later this month for sound dampening.I think I prefer awareness mode on this pair vs my other one. My other one seems to amplify noises I don't normally hear with uncovered ears, while this set simply lets a normal volume of noise through. These headphones are very comfortable with a lot of adjustability. The headband padding is enough that my tender head doesn't start to ache, and the padded ear pieces are big enough to go around my ears rather than crushing them.Bonus: this set actually comes with a case! That's something I had to order separately for my other ones.I absolutely recommend Edifier for ANC headphones, and I will keep this brand in mind for future purchases!

Great Sound

This is a great set of over-ear headphones. You forget after using small earbuds all the time how much difference a larger driver makes. These sound great, have great battery life, and the materials feel very high quality. The build quality is fantastic and the noise cancellation works really really well.

Solid Performance

I've come to appreciate what goes into Edifier's product lineup, and their ANC Hi-Res entry with 92 hours playback is definitely included.  First, the headset design is simplistic.  No complicated external bevels, edging, etc....just purposeful.  The ear and head pads are very comfortable and cushioned, and after about 4 hours of wearing them listening to everything from music to youtube videos, I never had the feeling of ear fatigue or pressure around the auricles. The button placement is well done as well.  Along with the aesthetic, this feature is also simplistic and doesn't require any weird hand contortion to turn on the headphones, adjust volume or change ANC settings.  You'll need to remember a few commands for various needs, but muscle memory will take over after a few tries.Sound wise....it's an Edifier...what do you expect?  It's nice.  Edifier has a way of producing clean, smooth and fluid audio.  Your highs are crisp and defined with punch where expect, while your mids come through clearly and blend well, while not overshadowed by bass or highs.  The bass is also present.  It's not heavy, but defined.  However, using their app (which is - like everything else with this headset - nicely simple) you can adjust your sound preference and even customize your own.  Personally, I like a little deeper bass and this setting does well for my expectations.  I get the boom, kick, thump and rumbles without any other frequency drowning out.The ANC feature is really good, but in truth, you really don't need to turn it on in most circumstances.  Just regular listening with the additional bass did more than enough to silence any background noise...and that was between 50 - 60% volume.Overall, they're a solid pair of headphones with a price point that fits.

Impressive Sound, Long Battery Life & Real Noise Cancellation at a Reasonable Price

These Edifier over-ear ANC headphones deliver excellent audio performance, real noise canceling, and an outrageously long battery life — all without the premium price tag. I’ve used them for work calls, commuting, and music sessions, and they’ve exceeded expectations across the board.Effective Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)The ANC feature is the real deal. It noticeably reduces low-frequency hums like HVAC systems, background chatter, or plane engine noise. It’s not as aggressive as top-tier $300+ headphones, but for the price, it’s remarkably effective and makes a big difference in noisy environments.Balanced, High-Resolution SoundAudio quality is excellent for both wireless and wired modes. There’s clear separation, deep bass, and crisp highs — great for everything from classical music to podcasts to gaming. The Hi-Res Audio certification lives up to the hype. I also appreciate the natural soundstage — no artificial boosts.Insane 92-Hour Battery LifeI’ve used these for over a week without recharging. That 92-hour playback time is no exaggeration, especially with ANC off. Even with noise canceling enabled, I got several days of regular use on a single charge. And when you do need to top off, fast charging gives you hours of use in minutes.Great Call Quality for Work or TravelThe built-in mic is surprisingly clear, with decent background noise rejection. I’ve taken Zoom calls and phone calls both indoors and outside — callers reported hearing me clearly, without that muffled Bluetooth tone common in cheaper headsets.Wired & Wireless VersatilityThe ability to switch between Bluetooth and wired modes is a huge plus. When the battery is low or I’m editing audio, the wired mode delivers full-quality sound with zero latency. Also nice that Edifier includes both a charging cable and an AUX cord in the box.Comfortable for Long Listening SessionsThe ear cushions are plush and breathable, and the headband adjusts easily. I wore these for a 3-hour flight and multiple 2-hour meetings — no discomfort or ear fatigue. They also fold flat for storage, which is helpful for travel.Bottom LineThese Edifier ANC headphones punch far above their price point. With strong noise canceling, excellent sound, clear calls, and marathon battery life, they’re a fantastic value for remote work, travel, or casual listening. Highly recommended for anyone who wants premium performance without the premium cost.

How they compare to market-leading Bose Quiet Comfort 35 headphones….

PROS:Build quality is comparable to the best Bose over the ear headphones.Good for travel—fold down flat and come with a high-quality hard case. The Edifier app is well-designed and easy to use.The headphones connected easily via Bluetooth on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.Noise cancellation and ambient noise pass through both work really well. The app makes it easy to configure the headphones for your audio preferences—pre-sets for Classic, Bass, Rock and Custom, the latter with extensive equalizer adjustments.Comfortable to wear for extended use.CONS:The sound stage is less immersive, less rich, less crisp than the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 headphones, and even less than Beats Fit Pro ear buds. It isn’t terrible, but simply isn’t at the level of the best (admittedly more expensive) comparable Bose headphones. The sound adjustments in the app don’t seem to make a huge difference in the sound—the Classic setting sounds a lot like the Rock setting, for example. The posting on Amazon says that the ear pads are leather. They are actually vegan leather, meaning imitation leather.
