I bought the Edifier MR3 speakers for my personal gaming computer and media workstation after using the Edifier R1380DB Active Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers at work desk for about a year.The Edifier MR3 sound perfectly fine to me, and they’re much less expensive than the R1380DB as well! I can’t even tell the difference between the two pairs of speakers.I like that with a single button I can toggle through monitor, music, and customized sound effect.I had a coupon for Audioengine, but honestly, I’m glad I bought the MR3 because they look amazing at an incredible price point.

The speakers are really great. They arrived earlier than expected and were easy to configure. They sound amazing out of the box and didn't need configuration.

It's very good overall. however, I don't like the way the volume knob functions. With my Creative Pebble Pro, the volume knob controls the system volume. With these speakers, the volume knob only controls the speaker so, if you use the system volume, it works separately from the speakers. This makes for an annoying situation where you have to effectively chose which volume system to use.

Exceeded expectations, I honestly thought it’d be just another over priced speaker & boy I was wrong while getting the sound just right was difficult so I didn’t have to keep turning volume up and down the speakers worked flawlessly. The white and copper look goes along with my setup. I would absolutely recommend or even buy a second pair of these

Great sound, look beautiful, and the connectivity is great. I can use the Bluetooth to play music while gaming on the RCA inputs. They perform really well for movies, with good bass and clear vocals. Good value for the money.

I was hesitant on smaller monitors, I've alway had a place in a house to live, recently moved into an apartment and instead of buying 8" Maudio monitors again, I gave these a shot and have not been dissapointed.i have noticed, that something about the system will occasionally make it impossilbe to change the volume with the knob without power cycling.. but other than that, sounds great. The pink metallic isn't the most collaborative but it's not offputing.

For $120 the clarity, volume and low end these provide while also having Bluetooth capabilities feel unparalleled.Very easy to set up and get going.

This review is for Edifier MR3 Powered Studio Monitor Speakers. I bought them for my new desk setup and I can't be happier. Sound is really good. It has 3 settings to configure sound: monitor sound, music sound, or custom sound. Monitor sound uses the acoustic tuning knobs (High = treble and Low = bass) at the back of the speaker, Music sound uses your computer sound, and custom sound uses the Edifier Eq on their phone app. These gives you plenty of ways to configure your sound the way you like it. It also has bluetooth pairing if you want to pair your cellphone or any other device that needs output sound.About the sound quality, it is very good. It could be better in my opinion. Sometime its lacks the punch of a good bass and clarity on high tones. A JBL Charge 6 sounds richer and more fulfilling that these ones but I guess these speakers are intended as studio monitors more than spiced up sound. Either way, I'm very happy with them for my desktop setup and since I'm not an audio or music producer, it serves my purpose really well.

Connected to my Google Pixel tablet via bluetooth. Speakers sound good if used in a bedroom or computer room. Not audiophile quality but good enough. Audio adjustments at the rear of the main speaker. Connecting speaker wire could be better. It is Awfully thin.September 2025.

HOLY WOW! These speakers were incredibly easy to set up, and right out of the box, they sound amazing. The bass is deep, and the clarity is fantastic. I love the size — they're perfect for my space and deliver an excellent surround sound experience.There are plenty of customization options on the back, but I didn’t mess with those since I’m not a certified audiophile. Even without adjustments, they’re a huge upgrade from the Amazon Basics speakers I had before.While there’s no remote control, the value is outstanding. Perfect for gaming and listening to music!

Looked great, easy to setup, and had everything needed to connect to my laptop/monitor.... but stopped working after about 3 hours of use. There was power, but no sound. Just kind of died.
