Compact desktop speakers with eye-catching LED design and surprising sound quality. Customers said they deliver "crystal clear sound" with good bass for their size, though some note bass limitations compared to larger systems. Multiple connectivity options (USB, Bluetooth, AUX) praised, but USB connection issues reported by some shoppers.
- Overall these are the absolute best 2.0 speakers I've tried, and I'm SO happy I got them.
- Crystal clear sound and enough bass to add some flavor. Highly recommend
- This exceeded my expectations, would have to rate 10/10

These are quite nice speakers. The sound that you get out of them is probably as full and balanced as you can get out of two speakers of this size. The visual effects and aesthetics are quite nice too - they are pretty adjustable. I only hook up to AUX as I prefer simpler setups, but you can download software and hook up to USB to toy around with their presets (music, game, and movie mode). I think they're actually pretty bassy given their size. However, you just can't replace a .1 with two desktop speakers, much less several other speaker points, which is why I take exception to the "virtual 7.1". You could have the most expensive stereo speakers in the world (and at list price $250 right now they're certainly trying) and you won't get the same effect as 7.1. They do a nice job simulating a third center speaker in 7.1 mode, at best. The usability is a little awkward at times. Of course you can control your audio from your computer (or whatever you have it hooked up to) so volume/muting can just be done there (it has volume buttons but no mute, and they're press buttons so you can't turn them up or down quickly). You better keep the manual because you won't remember how to navigate their internal menu of lights/sounds/resetting etc. Even their manual could be set up differently. It has 17 different languages, but each feature has the same sentence in those 17 languages, rather than having an English section with all features, a Japanese section with all features, etc, so it's super hard to read through all the features while skimming by the other 15-16 languages you can't read.I would definitely consider these >$100 speakers with the sound quality and look, but $250 is an incredibly difficult pill to swallow.

I’ve owned high-end audio gear for years—everything from a true 7.1 home theater setup to Logitech 5.1 PC surround systems with subwoofers. With that in mind, I was curious how the Edifier HECATE G2000 speakers would stack up with their claims of virtual 7.1 surround sound out of just two compact speakers. After using them daily for about three weeks, I can say they sound very good, but they don’t quite hit the same level as dedicated multi-speaker systems. The biggest limitation is the bass. At only 3 inches, the drivers just can’t produce the thump of a proper subwoofer, so explosions and deep tones come across as a little flat compared to larger systems. That said, the mids and highs are clear, the stereo separation is strong, and the speakers are more than capable of filling a desk space with detailed audio. They also get plenty loud for their size without distorting.Despite their limitations, these have replaced my bulky Logitech system on my desk. Why? Wires. Managing a true 5.1 system at a desk means hanging speakers, running cables everywhere, and dealing with a subwoofer that can rattle the walls and annoy the rest of the household. The G2000s are compact, tidy, and look fantastic under my monitor with their RGB lighting. The cabling is simple and heavy-duty, and I like that they support multiple connections: USB, Bluetooth, and AUX, so I can easily use them with my PC, console, or even just stream from my phone. For me, they strike the right balance of convenience, sound quality, and style. No, they don’t rival my home theater or even the old Logitech in raw performance, but they’re practical, fun to use, and sound good enough for everyday gaming and music. The price feels a little high for what they deliver, but you’re also paying for the sleek design, lighting, and versatile connectivity.Overall, the Edifier HECATE G2000s are a strong option for gamers and PC users who want better-than-average sound in a clean, compact package without turning their desk into a wiring project. Just know that if chest-thumping bass is your top priority, you’ll want to look at something with a dedicated subwoofer.

They look cute, however these appear to be two 16W speakers. Not sure what kind of new math decided that added up to a 64w system. They are hollow in tiny as a digital output, and only slightly better as analog. They do look cute though, sadly audio isn't so much about looks.

Following finding a review on my daily google feed, I decided to order these on a whim. My existing PC sound setup was aging and I had been meaning to find an upgrade for a while. I won't lie, the inner child in me loved the unique LED setup in the back of the drivers, this at the time was the main selling point.First off you get all the cables you need (usb A/C with an adapter to go C/C and an AUX cable) in the box. Power and cabling goes to the left speaker which suited my setup. Software went into Windows 11 without any issue. I'm a geek, so I twiddled with a few setting in the software, but I don't feel this is a must. Easy to setup, plug and go!I really like the LED lighting (obviously one of the main selling points), it definitely delivers on the cool factor, and from the pictures to setting these up on my desk, that feature is definitely delivered. I really like that the speakers don't go on and off with my PC (there is a power button on the left speaker), this means I can leave them on for a lighting effect on my geek desk when I'm not on my PC. There is also a multi-use button on the speaker to control the sound mode and lighting affects (so software isn't compulsory).Sound wise.. I was very surprised! Being small PC speakers, my expectation at this price level, was low to moderate. Fired up BF6 and the speakers sound fantastic. Enough clear bass for explosions that doesn't annoy others, yet still satisfying to immerse in the cacophony of war. The clarity was the most surprising, bullets whistling with a sense of depth, not quite surround sound, but definitely reasonable more than some other speakers of similar price, and definitely enough that I felt my money had bought something of good quality. Gaming wise, I couldn't fault them! Music and movies were also ok, perhaps not as surprising as gaming, you start to notice the small format speaker limitations here, especially in the mid range and bass. Far from sounding bad and more on par with the price level.Overall, I would say a great purchase. I had a £350 aging LG soundbar (9 speaker with box sub) previously, and the clarity upgrade in games is a definite improvement along with the space recovery on my desk!

These speakers are absolutely incredible for so many reasons, I'll list them all in a moment. Overall if you're looking for outstanding bass response, really good sound quality, 2.0 speaker pair, that isn't going to shake the house or wake up family, these are the ones. Also the LEDs and design are super thoughtful and it shows. Overall these are the absolute best 2.0 speakers I've tried, and I'm SO happy I got them. I tried a couple other high quality brands, it's not even close. I did a lot of research so you don't have to. :-)1. The sound is top quality, booming enough but not too much, everything you need2. The size is perfect, they're not too high or too wide3. The clear casing and the LEDs are a vibe that oozes atmosphere4. They're naturally angled towards your ears, a very nice design touch5. They fit very nicely beside or under your monitor and don't cause any obstruction or distraction6. The speakers have different sound equalizer modes(Gaming, Movie, Music). I haven't really tested this, I just use gamer mode which sounds great for YouTube and other audio I use in addition to gaming, you can give it a try.Helpful Setup Tips:1. To start the speakers do a long hold of the power button (1 second). They make an audible mechanical sound when they start up, you'll hear it and know.2. Once you set your modes, the speakers will remember them on boot up (no need to setup every time)3. The speakers don't start in AUX mode at first (I use AUX), you have to single tap the power button to change modes, took me a while to figure this out, had no sound at first. AUX the LEDs are red. (Modes: AUX | USB | Bluetooth)4. In order to change the LED lights, double tap the G button. (There's like 7 or 8 pre-sets, they're all pretty awesome, I cycle through them daily for variety)5. I researched and tested this: For maximum sound quality, I would turn the speakers volume to about 50%, and then use your PC controls to manage it from there (I use volume control on my keyboard).6. The speakers do not auto turn on/off with your PC. They are independently powered and will need to be powered on every time you use them. They will auto shutoff after some idle time.

I was skeptical because of the wattage and size, but they have exceeded my expectations. Small enough for a minimalistic setup, powerful enough to enjoy my Spotify Lossless Audio with a crystal clear sound and enough bass to add some flavor. Highly recommend
